Our 11th ranked business has a unique, valuable and socially constructive business model. Omni Financial Services provides lending and banking to under-served customers.

In other words, redevelopment loans to inner city neighborhoods.

Chairman and CEO Stephen Klein and his brother Jeff stepped in to replace predatory lending with 60 percent interest rates in a vertical that no other bank would touch.

Navigating banking laws that made regional growth difficult, Omni has built a business with a diverse group of shareholders – with managers who live and work in the areas they serve.

Employment at Omni is 40 percent minorities, with 11 different languages spoken here. Stephen's focus: Keep growth profitable.

And in his spare time, Stephen is an accomplished golfer; a club champion at Firestone and the Golf Club of Georgia.
