In 2003, working mom Nancy Pineda launched Hire Profile, a completely virtual company that connects people, projects and agencies. They meet regularly, but stay engaged over the phone and instant messaging. The net result is a successful deliverable that was produced by a team that had no prior connection, self-funded, profitable while allowing all seven employees to remain committed to their families. In her spare time, Nancy is an expert Polo player . . . and actually quit as an amateur player to launch her business.
